Senior Housing
AVMF participates in the Senior Housing Taskforce, consisting of stakeholders on senior issues throughout the community. The Taskforce identified the need for a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) to address the full spectrum of services needed by seniors in our community. CCRC offers independent living apartments or cottages, assisted living apartments and skilled nursing rooms. The Taskforce is pursuing the acquisition of land for the development of a local CCRC, which is critical before any further progress can be made.
