Health and Human Services Recipients

Aspen Valley Medical Foundation (AVMF) seeks to address the ongoing and growing health and human needs in the Roaring Fork Valley through its leadership and grant making process. AVMF provides funding support to agencies and organizations that reflect the Foundation’s funding intent: providing support in the spirit of trust and mutual respect, while maintaining the highest standards of accountability without micromanaging the recipient organizations.

AVMF grants funds to qualified area not-for-profit 501(c)3 organizations that clearly demonstrate their effectiveness at meeting health and human service needs with high quality programs and services, as well as sound administrative and fiscal management.

AVMF supports beneficiary agencies with two categories of funding: Partnership, with a commitment to fund over a period of three years, and Affiliate, with a commitment for funding on a year-to-year basis.

The Community Grants Committee of AVMF meets and reviews grant proposals once a year.
